Underground Services were awarded the contract to install six (6) 132 kV cables for the new substation Western Power are constructing next to Curtin University. There will be 2 circuits comprising 3 cables each.
This has been a challenging project due to adverse soil conditions; however USA project manager, Andrew Blaver, says that the exemplary attitude of the Bentley crew has seen the project meet all challenges and keep moving forward. Our Client (Western Power) is happy with the methodologies applied to deliver the goods.
The project has required intense level of traffic management and interaction with the local residents due to equipment and personnel movements and road excavation and reinstatement activities.
The project is on track to be completed in around 4 weeks.
